Research makes the difference

The research division of the Animal Health Group provides independent research into animal health with its own laboratory. CLVP not only focuses on the monitoring of salmonella, but also maps the complete health of your animals with all-round studies.

Research makes the difference, that’s what we stand for at the Central Laboratory for Poultry (CLVP). The CLVP serves both the laying and meat sector in the poultry chain. With our many years of experience and expert knowledge, CLVP conducts all-round poultry studies in which gut health, legs and organs are all addressed. We also do pathological research for rabbit farming.

The laboratory offers the facilities to carry out further and additional research. This includes bacteriological and serological (detection of antibodies) research, but also molecular research by means of PCR. CLVP also conducts water research and nutritional analyses. With an accreditation and ISO certificate for salmonella testing, CLVP proves its expertise and reliability.

Poultry farming

Is your rabbit showing abnormal behaviour and are you curious about what might be going on? Thanks to years of experience, CLVP also has the right knowledge for rabbit farmers to carry out targeted research into your rabbits.

Within the poultry industry, CLVP works together with pharmaceutical companies, slaughterhouses, hatcheries and rearing chains to gain an overall picture of the quality and welfare in the poultry sector. We respond to your research wishes for your poultry.
